What crowns have they awarded to my Lord
And who was it determined such awards?
Firstly the soldiers plaited a crown of thorns
To grace His head while He endured the cross;
Though innocent of hate they moved in scorn
Coarsely disposed merely to jeer and mock.
Threat nor complaint came from the Lord of all
Though by His word their breath could be recalled.
But finally another crown adorns
The One who brought to God more than He lost.
God has ensured He has His just reward ‑
Glory and honour bestowed on Him by God.

  1. Oh wow! Sir you write the most beautiful of pieces. This is awesome.. yes, Jesus Chris did a huge lot for us. How can we thank thee Lord, but to thank thee? Thank you God for Jesus, thank you Jesus for coming.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas celebrating our saviour. Have a happy holiday season.

    Much Love x

  2. oh the crown that the god has placed upon his only begotten son and oh the crowns that will be cast before the throne of the lord jesus.

  3. Thank you, ladies.

And Terry you will have one (at least), "Henceforth the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will render to me in that day; but not only to me, but also to all who love his appearing". Won't you?

  4. yes!
oh this is just great because i do love the promise of his coming again..thank you so much!
i will have to do a little more studying on the crowns!
i am going to email you later to tell you how much good i received from reading your blog last night.
i really do believe that the holy spirit is giving the christians the same message at the same time no matter where they are in the world because this morning the crowning of the lord and the washing of the feet was talked about a lot and the salvation of the thief on the husband and i have to leave now for the gospel meeting.....terry

I'm glad to hear how this strikes you!
