Before divine power wrought

Divine affection thought

of us.

In mercy Jesus came

To bear both sin and shame

for us.

Now from His glorious place

He comes to show His grace

to us.

He's gone in to prepare

A place that He will share

with us.

Where He with joy will raise

An anthem to God's praise

by us.
