APPROACH TO THE TABERNACLE (II)

 An Israelite might take a turtle-dove,

Or sheep, or bullock, as he approached the Lord,

As witness of the measure of his love.

So a believer as he comes toward

God's house has Christ to be his offering

Because no other gift is in accord.

But may I grow in grace so that I bring

Increasing thoughts of Christ to suit the King.
