By the cross of Jesus
Stood one who lay in
The bosom of Jesus.
In the tomb of Jesus
He who stood by the cross
Believed Christ was risen.
The man who had believed
That Jesus was risen
Could proclaim, "It is the Lord".
The one who has recognised
Jesus the Lord was seen
As following Jesus.
He who followed Jesus
Became in the Spirit,
Alone, on the Lord's day.
The one who became
In the Spirit could see
God's work in perfection.
Just want to thank you for your visit and leaving an encouraging comment. Great posts! To God be the glory! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteDave, I came by earlier and attempted to leave a comment, but I think I lost it. I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and weighing in on the debate over socalized health care here in the US.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to tell you how sorry I am that your sister lost her battle with Cancer. I have a daughter who this summer is a six year survivor. Today, I remember the fear of losing her. Even though we are Christian and know that she would have been in the arms of Christ had she lost, a mother never wants to let one of hers return to Him.
By all admissions, the US has some problems with their current health care system. That is not saying though that giving it over to the government will do anything to make it better.
Things that many of us here are asking to try as an alternative is Medical Savings Accounts and aboloshing the HMO system. Both would give us more control in our health care.
My husband works in the health care field and deals on a daily basis with the insurance industry so I know some of the problems there.
As a side note, by law, it is illegal to deny health care to anyone in the US based on their ability to pay.
I thank you for coming over, once again, and hope to see more of you and your input from your perspective.
