HE SUFFERED AND HE DIED

He suffered through men's wilfulness
On the account of righteousness;
He suffered to be qualified
To be our priest as glorified;
He suffered in His love for me
And bore my sins upon the tree;
He gave Himself for us to ensure
He had a people who were pure;
He died to gain, through God's great plan
The Bride to answer to the Man.
