Many were the offences:
Denied by His disciples;
Discarded by His people;
Derided by their priests;
Demeaned by Gentile curs:
It was His glory

Our beautiful Lord suffered many things for all of mankind to be reconciled back to the Father. Many just did not acknowledge Who He was.
